Caterpillar fungus from Bhutan

The Caterpillar fungus, scientifically known as Cordyceps sinensis is diamond for people living in highlands of Bhutan. Cordyceps can be used as an effective health booster and can help bring back the normal performance of your body and increase longevity.

    1. Dear anonymous, this is what we call Cordyceps sinensis; genus of ascomycete fungi. All Cordyceps species are endo-parasitoids, mainly on insects and other arthropods and few are parasitic on other fungi. This have a long history as medicinal fungi, which plays vital role while preparation of medicine.

    1. What you said is true. it is found in plateaus of Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal and some parts of China and India. I would say, it is one of the rarest among rare on this earth. This species have potential for highest healing power for any kinds of diseases.
